Meet Professional Cabinet Painting Duo Sarah Hines and Mets Schilstra

I am right brain, and he is left brain. Together, as a collaborative husband and wife team, we are a creative force to be reckoned with and execute our clients’ visions in a big way. Our niche is custom cabinet painting and refinishing and faux finishing, but we also offer a full array of wall and ceiling faux finishes. Additionally, we do furniture restoration as well.

I am the artist, chief creative, scheduler and all around nerdy girl. I adore the chemistry of what we do too! Which, if I’m being technical is really cabinet refinishing not cabinet painting. Now, Mets is the workhorse, chief problem solver, project manager and all around get it done guy. Together, we are the perfect team!

We believe in applying a finish that preforms and stands the test of time. We are dedicated to providing our clients with expert design and color advice and a phenomenal end product. We only use water-based lacquers. Solvent-based products tend to yellow out over time and are very user unfriendly both for us and in the client’s home environment.
