This is a beautiful historical home, built in the 1890s, in the downtown Indianapolis North Park area. The lovely couple who purchased this home has updated it from the ground up. The staircase is original to the home. The wood paneling was an addition many years later. The exterior of the home has kept its original charm while the interior has received a stunning update.
The bland oak entry and staircase were given a modern update. New dark stained hardwoods were installed and Shines Studios stained the existing wood treads, railing and banisters to match. The paneled walls and ceiling in the entryway were also painted and stained to compliment the new look of this space. All interior doors were painted black.
